Gathering the needs of the congregation, these requests are compiled on a Craigslist-type website administered by church staff. The ArkALMIGHTY.com website is designed to make it easy to get involved in practical and tangible volunteer outreach. Can you balance a checkbook? Can you hang a picture frame? Can you throw a spiral? You might not think of these everyday activities as volunteering, but for the people around you that can't do them, your ability and your willingness to help is exactly what they need. You'd be amazed how a simple act of kindness can change lives!
Helping others is at the heart of ArkALMIGHTY. There are countless needs in every seat in every row that, up until now, have had no way of being met. But now they do, thanks to ArkALMIGHTY. So whether you're looking for help or looking to help others, ArkALMIGHTY makes it easy! Here's how it works:
- Click here, or click the link on the homepage to go to our ArkALMIGHTY site.
- Post your need. (Don't worry, your identity is totally anonymous, except to the person who chooses to help you and the ArkALMIGHTY site administrator). While you're there, search through the other needs in the church. You might have the exact skill set needed for the job!
- Once someone clicks on the posted need and agrees to help, a private email is sent connecting to two of you together.
- Had a need? Not anymore!
