Our History
Faith Outreach Church began with humble beginnings. The first service had only eight people that attended. This was in 1989 at a little paint and body shop located directly across the street from a local low income housing development. It was there that Pastors William & Ginger's vision became crystal clear. Their desire was to take the good news of Jesus Christ and share it was anyone who would listen, regardless of age, race, nationality, or income. People are people, and all people are welcome at Faith Outreach Church. When the mission was clearly defined, Faith Outreach Church started to witness growth. It was in 1992 when the little paint and body shop could no longer contain all of the people at Faith Outreach Church. The final service in that building had 70 people! It was time to relocate to a bigger building. The new building, a former police precinct and night court, was about to be bursting at its seams. This building was located in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee just one block away from the courthouse and directly across the street from the county jail. The first service in the new building had an all time record setting 102 people. Faith Outreach hasn't looked back since. God began to tremendously bless Faith Outreach. By the end of the stay at the old Police building, Faith Outreach grew to over over 1200 members. It took three services on Sunday alone morning just to accommodate all of the people! In 2001, Faith Outreach completed the current sanctuary, located off of I-24 on 27 1/2 acres of land. Membership is currently past 2,200 and God has equipped Faith Outreach with the land, tools, and people to do more great things in the future.
